?? Celebrating Black Brilliance and Collaboration in Pittsburgh’s Arts Community ?? Last night, I had the privilege of attending and participating in Synergies, an incredible evening hosted by ACT3 Consulting Partners, UniSound, and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. This event was a powerful testament to the talent, innovation, and impact of Black musicians and educators in our community. The event featured inspiring performances and remarks from UniSound’s Black Teaching Artist-in-Residence (BTAR) fellows, alumni, and PSO’s Paul J. Ross Fellowship participants. It was a joy to share the stage with so many trailblazing artists and leaders, including: ?? Anqwenique Kinsel (BTAR Alum) ?? Drew Collins (PSO Paul J. Ross Fellow) ?? Omari Abdul-Alim (BTAR Fellow) … and many more! As a 2021 BTAR Alum, I shared my journey, the impact BTAR has had on my career, and my gratitude to ACT3 Consulting Partners for supporting my vision. The evening was a celebration of Black brilliance and a call to continue building connections and fostering innovation in the arts. Thank you to everyone who made this evening unforgettable.
