Just spent an incredible two days in Washington, D.C. at NVIDIA’s AI Summit, where innovation, AI advancements, and groundbreaking solutions took center stage. We also celebrated the launch of the NVIDIA AI Tech Community in Pittsburgh—an exciting initiative to foster public-private partnerships and fuel AI innovation. This marks a tremendous opportunity for our region and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of it. Through this collaboration, the Pittsburgh Robotics Network has teamed up with NVIDIA to accelerate robotics innovation in Pittsburgh to bridge research, academia, and the robotics sector, focusing on developing AI-driven autonomous systems and intelligent machines. “The era of physical AI is here,” said Amit Goel, head of robotics ecosystems at NVIDIA. “Working with the Pittsburgh Robotics Network, the University of Pittsburgh, and Carnegie Mellon University will jumpstart meaningful private-public collaborations to further accelerate national generative AI and robotics expertise and innovation.” ???
