Yesterday PLSA CEO Megan Kahn Shaw and local life sciences executives Satya Venneti of Telling.ai and Jamie Quinterno of Peca Labs testified to the Pennsylvania State Senate Majority Policy Committee on the importance of life sciences innovation to the current and future regional economy and to identifying new life saving and cost savings approaches to human health. They also shared the importance of federal #SBIR and #STTR #AmericasSeedFund grants are to commercialization and how Pennsylvania could support an even faster growing sector by adopting a matching program like those that exist in 32 other states. Senator Devlin Robinson was recognized as one of LSPA’s State Officials of the Year for his contributions to helping create a pathway for Pennsylvanians to access biomarker testing. ?? Humotech was a finalist for Emerging Company of the Year for the incredible strides they’ve made to advance better was to assist human mobility. Time to get back to building.
