The world's first BBQ museum opens spring, 2025 in Kansas City, MO. At more than 4,000 square feet, it will highlight the elements of barbecue (Meat, Rub/Spice, Wood, Fire, Smoke, and Sauce) and key regions (the Carolinas, Memphis, Texas, and Kansas City). There's even a BBQ-themed playground for the kids. Anyone up for a road trip?

Great "feedback" from Texas Monthly on our partner Schulze's Pit Room in Sequin, Texas. Shout out to the one and only Bill Dumas. "The brisket boudin at this joint,?which opened in 2023, is impressive, but what I kept going back for was the smoked half chicken. Pitmaster Robert Celestino II smokes the bird slowly in an offset smoker until it’s nearly done and then transfers it to a direct-heat cooker with hot wood coals to finish. You get the perfect blend of crisp skin and juicy meat beneath."
