What a delight to deliver a professional relationships focused retreat with the senior leadership team from Piramal Alternatives in the mountains in Marahastra, India. It was a beautiful setting and an opportunity for the team to get away from day-to-day deal making and turn the lens to their relationship-building externally, internally and with each other. Thank you to everyone who participated. They showed a high level of engagement, really entering into the spirit of what we were trying to achieve. They shared openly and vulnerably, with everyone making strong commitments going forward. I’m looking forward to continue the work and seeing the ideas from the two days implemented. This was a co-created programme, with a huge amount of preparation driven by the Piramal HR team Akshata Shetty Adukia, Subesh Bhattacharjee and Pranav Ghodke. And special thanks to Suyasha Saha and the team at Emeritus India for leading this project and recommending me for the role.

Pleased to announce that Piramal Alternatives has signed a definitive agreement to invest up to ?185 crore in 3Gen Consulting Services, a leading healthcare consulting and revenue cycle solutions provider with presence in India and across USA. This marks the first investment from the Piramal Alternatives India Credit Opportunities Fund II. The funding will empower 3Gen Consulting to expand its service offerings across new and existing customer segments, enhance brand recognition, strengthen market positioning, and explore inorganic growth opportunities. Euler Motors has raised Rs 200 crore ($24 million) as part of an extended funding round led by Piramal Alternatives India Access Fund. The firm’s existing investors, British International Investment and Blume Ventures, also participated in the round. Piramal Alternatives recently announced an investment of INR 600 crores in Annapurna Finance Pvt. Ltd., a leading non-banking finance company focussed in microfinance. The deal involved a combination of secondary purchase of shares and providing Tier – 2 capital. The strategic investment will drive the company's AUM growth, support market expansion and reinforce its position as a leading player in the microfinance segment Annapurna is one of India’s leading microfinance institution headquartered in Odisha with assets under management in excess of USD 1.25 Billion with an extensive network of 1,372 branches as on March 31, 2024.
