Piper is a technology solutions provider and system integrator specializing in the transportation industry. Train Navigation - Determine the location of trains with unmatched positional certainty, even underground or on elevated tracks in the city. Maintenance of Way Safety - Piper’s multi-sensor MOW safety solution provides limits compliance, collision avoidance and obstacle detection, and greatly improves track worker safety. ATP-Overlay - Piper’s Helix Platform can be integrated to provide ATP functionality such as Vital Train Localization, Red Signal Overrun Protection, Collision Avoidance, and more to improve overall safety and reliability. Grade Crossing Safety - Monitor grade crossings remotely to detect occupancy and alert rail system operators and/or train control systems to potential hazards. Station Safety & PIDS - Calculate train arrival/departure times to improve rider experience, and keep them safe on the platforms.
