Last week, Mike Browne had the opportunity to attend and present at the 2025 MTRPA Annual Conference in Bozeman, MT. Along with Dori Skrukrud from the Greenway Service District, Mike spoke about the ongoing efforts on the Silver Bow Creek Greenway Project and networked with other industry professionals.

Last week, Tim Murphy had the pleasure of touring the U.S. National Science Foundation Ice Core Facility in Lakewood, Colorado. Butte’s trail system is a remarkable blend of history, resilience, and community effort. Dennis Glick’s article in the Spring 2025 edition of Outside Bozeman, highlights the transformation of former mining lands into a network of trails that connect people to the region’s rich landscape. Over the years, many individuals and organizations have contributed to this vision. This includes members of our Pioneer team, both past and present, who have played a role in planning, designing, and advocating for these trails. With progress underway on the Silver Bow Creek Greenway and the upcoming Durant Canyon section, we are excited to see this legacy continue. It’s National Surveyors Week! We are excited to celebrate the surveyors who play a pivotal role in our services, from infrastructure projects to environmental planning. Their work ensures that our projects are based on the proper groundwork, allowing the Pioneer team to deliver the most accurate, timely, and cost-effective solutions possible.    We are so grateful for our surveyors’ talent, dedication, and precision. Jon Jupka and his team recently won the “Go with the Flow” award from the Montana DNRC at the annual Association of Montana Floodplain Managers conference. Jon and his team won this award for working through many unexpected changes on recent floodplain mapping projects and graciously resolving them. We are incredibly proud of their invaluable work and their dedication to building a sustainable future!
