In the last 24 hours ???: 1. The Trump Administration’s Office of Management and Budget has directed all federal agencies to halt activities related to open notices of funding opportunities, and to pause all federal grants and loans, ranging from DOE grants, to NIH research, to LPO programming, and beyond; 2. A federal judge has temporarily blocked the memo until Feb 3rd, to avoid a "lapse in existing federal funding [which] will cause irreparable injuries to recipients and their programs". For many of you this may be a sharp disruption, whether you are in the process of applying for federal funding, or have active projects on hold. Pioneer is named after climate innovators, and we’re here for you as you are facing increased uncertainty, and questions. This funding also marks a pivotal step toward strengthening the U.S. supply chain for advanced battery materials with plans to build the first commercial-scale, U.S.-owned and operated advanced electrolyte production facility.
