Each summer, we are privileged to host one or more college students for an immersive, hands-on internship experience. January 6: Resumes due (email to: [email protected]) January 15 - February 14: Interviews conducted either in person or by phone / Zoom February 24: Interns selected and notified A few notes on our summer internship program: - This paid internship is 32 hours per week, in office. - Hours are generally M-Th, 8:00 – 5:00. - The internship will start on or around June 2 and conclude by early August. - Intern(s) will be aligned with a specific team member but may take on other tasks or assignments as needed. - Duties could include: outbound activity, research, marketing. This week marks a significant milestone at Pintail's latest development at South Carolina Technology and Aviation Center, as the walls of the 161,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center are now in place. The installation was made possible by the formidable Liebherr Group LR1500 Crawler Crane, which was transported on 15 flatbed trucks, plus a lowboy to accommodate the crane's large-scale components. With a commanding 160-foot boom, this crane has been a defining feature of the site, symbolizing our work's scope and precision. We're thrilled to advance this project alongside our partners and are committed to delivering on our vision for a state-of-the-art facility by Spring 2025. JUST CLOSED: Morgan Manor The well-known multi-tenant, mixed-use retail center known as Morgan Manor has traded hands. Originally built in 1972, the ‘Manor’ has served as a home to a host of local businesses over the years. Reynolds Flowe represented the buyer, facilitating a late October closing on the 58,000 SF value-add property. Pintail’s Director of Industrial Services Andreas Heinzelmann regularly travels to Europe to connect with European companies interested in entering the US market. During a recent trip to Deggendorf, Germany in December 2023, Andreas met with Thomas G??wein, CEO of FENECON, a German producer of energy storage systems. Following that initial meeting, Andreas worked with the team to define Fenecon’s building requirements and began searching for and evaluating locations across the Southeastern US. Having personally lived the US market-entry experience himself, Andreas was able to make important introductions and serve as an advisor to the FENECON team, guiding them through a successful US market entry and commercial real estate process. Just six months after meeting for the first time, Andreas guided FENECON to finalize a long-term lease, establishing the company’s US Headquarters in Greenville, SC. Fenecon CEO Thomas G??wein had this to share about his experience: “Andreas provided me with excellent support in finding a suitable commercial property for our new factory in the Upstate area of South Carolina. Thanks to his extensive experience in the industrial sector, he quickly understood our needs and requirements and guided us purposefully through the entire process.
