Helping kids with cancer and their families with financial and emotional support.
关于我们
Childhood Cancer Changes Everything Every time a family hears the words "your child has cancer," they are forced to make hard decisions. They ask themselves: "Do I keep working while having to take time off for treatments and hospital stays? If I quit my job, will we survive financially?" Medical bills can be delayed, but rent is due, bills still come, and food is a necessity. Families facing childhood cancer need help with everyday expenses. Pinky Swear Foundation provides financial support for transportation, food, and housing so families can focus on what matters most - their child.

All-Star McKenna's mom shared with us that the unexpected hospital visits are always the hardest. “That’s when you are reminded that it’s all-consuming,” explained Meggi. “We just had our fourth unexpected admission. She had a 104.5F temperature and she was taken by ambulance to the clinic. I rode with her; it was 2:50 in the morning. This first one resulted in eight extra nights at the hospital, another time, it was seven nights.” The financial costs add up between normal hospital visits, trips to take her brother to his grandparents, and these unexpectedly long hospital stays. This is where we see Mitch's promise living on for families like McKenna's. McKenna's mom teared up when she read of Mitch's generosity. Now, supporters like you step in to provide gas and grocery cards in addition to mortgage payments so families can focus on their child's care. "Preserving fertility isn't something a person thinks about at 22-months old." This was the reality for All-Star McKenna. One of her ovaries was removed before she was even two years old because of the harsh nature of chemotherapy. Despite it all, McKenna is a sweet, caring little girl who remains positive. "No more bad guys" is her motto.
