We focus on addressing the medical problems that women uniquely face by applying sophisticated scientific approaches to resolve them and provide answers that have an immediate, positive impact on their lives. The American Cancer Society’s new 2025 cancer report is out and shows some alarming trends, especially for women: ? * While cancer deaths continue to decline, incidences of several cancers are rising, especially among women and younger adults. * Women aged 50-64 who were diagnosed with cancer outpaced men in the same age group. * Cancer rates in women under 50 are now 82% higher than their male counterparts. * Death rates for uterine cancer are increasing. ? This line especially resonated: ? “Many women are enraged because they’re being told they have to grit their teeth and power through perimenopause,?without the option to explore potentially beneficial hormone therapy.” ? Women too often are expected to “just deal with it” when it comes to our medical needs. And we often put that expectation on ourselves. But we deserve better! ? That’s why at PinkDx, we’re committed to positively impacting the health of women throughout their life journey. Our first focus is on helping the estimated 1.3 million women who present each year in the US with the vague symptom of abnormal bleeding that could signal a gynecologic cancer, but for which the cause is not clear. We’re developing solutions to replace invasive, painful diagnostic biopsies and reduce the delays women and their doctors often face in getting answers.? ?
