Thank you to Mei Mei Dumplings for welcoming iCater Boston trainees to their factory for a tour and dumpling-making class. Recently, Mei Mei deepened their iCater connection by offering hands-on learning opportunities and business classes as part of Pine Street’s curriculum to prepare trainees for their culinary careers.

This morning, the athenahealth team volunteered for kitchen prep. Helping prepare fresh ingredients supports kitchen staff as they cook healthy and comforting meals for shelter guests. Thank you for your time and support!

Thank you to Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub and to all who donated to the Have a Heart fundraiser. By providing monthly meals for shelter guests and supporting job training initiatives that help move people beyond homelessness, your support has made a significant impact on the Pine Street community.

Today, volunteers from Accenture conducted mock interviews with Pine Street's workforce development trainees to help build confidence and communication skills to ace future job interviews. Thank you for dedicating your time to set trainees up for success!

As BBQ season comes to a close, we look back on the community gatherings at Pine Street's supportive housing sites. Throughout the summer, these cookouts brought tenants, neighbors and staff together for good food and company, fostering community connections and a sense of belonging.

This week, Boston City Council President Ruthzee Louijeune joined Pine Street President Lyndia Downie and other staff members at one of our supportive housing sites in Boston. Thank you for visiting and all you do to help end homelessness in the City!

Thank you to first-time visiting chef Nick Boller of Museum of Fine Arts, Boston for teaching iCater Boston trainees how to make homemade tacos. This hands-on learning experience shows trainees new cooking techniques and avenues to employment in the culinary industry.
