Having working smoke alarms reduces the risk of dying in a home fire by 54-percent. ?? 60-percent of fire deaths occur in homes with either no smoke alarms or no working smoke alarms. ?? Over 38-percent of home fire deaths are from fires with no smoke alarms are present.
