关于我们
Pierce Engineers is a structural engineering firm based in the Midwest, working with clients across the nation. Our three offices in Milwaukee, Madison, and Chicago work as one team with daily interaction and coordination on technical topics, projects, and management. The PE team has a traditional hierarchy of positions and roles, but we work horizontally fostering engagement from all levels of experience to create a successful team and develop our younger staff. Our practice is founded on building lasting relationships with clients and industry partners, who appreciate our teamwork and cost-focused approach to structural engineering. While our experience and expertise touch all types of building projects, we find that the best projects are the ones where the team works in a collaborative approach to deliver a successful project. Each project is unique – a custom solution for a particular set of conditions – but our approach is consistent: to deliver quality work in a responsive manner while incorporating the architectural vision, the owner’s budget, and coordinating with the contractor to ensure a smooth construction project. Our 30 years of experience has shown that early involvement by our team as the project is taking shape can effectively drive decision-making and efficiencies that lead to cost savings and a streamlined design process. This experience and ongoing communication between the design and construction teams provides a smooth construction process resulting in successful projects.

So fun to see how our projects transform! KinetiK is a mixed-use building with four stories of apartments over two stories of parking with commercial space at the ground level. Paloma is a vibrant space and a great addition to the Bay View neighborhood!
We’re proud to partner with local businesses that bring innovation and excitement to Milwaukee, and this month, we're shining a spotlight on Paloma Taco and Tequila! ???? Located in our retail space at KinetiK MKE in Bay View, Paloma Taco + Tequila has quickly become a neighborhood favorite, and it's easy to see why. With a mouthwatering menu featuring delicious tacos, refreshing cocktails, vegan and gluten-free options, and amazing N/A drinks, there's truly something for everyone.?? This week, Abby Reuter, P.E. and Laura Zelinsky from our Madison team, presented at "She Builds" Construction Camp hosted by AGC of Wisconsin. This week-long camp is dedicated to the exploration of the construction trades, architecture, and engineering through hands-on experiences and field trips. Campers built their own structures with gumdrops and toothpicks. The tallest structure was just over 18 inches and the strongest structure was able to hold over 7 pounds! We are so happy to participate in "She Builds" Construction Camp again this year. It was fun to see what type of structures the girls came up with!

Next time you visit the Brookfield Zoo, check out the new North American Prairie Aviary! We are proud to have been a part of this fun project at the Brookfield Zoo.
Our new North American Prairie Aviary is now open! Located just behind the Hamill Family Nature Plaza, the aviary offers a unique glimpse into the vibrant life of the North American prairie, including sandhill cranes and greater prairie chickens. Both species face challenges in the wild, with populations of the greater prairie chicken decreasing and the Mississippi subspecies of sandhill crane facing extinction. The aviary and its inhabitants will bring awareness on the conservation challenges facing native bird species and convey ways Brookfield Zoo Chicago is working with partners and local agencies to help protect them.
