Project Managers: Chrysanne Medina & Andrew Kerzhner ?? Walkie Talkie Walkie Talkie is a viral app (10M+ Downloads) for instant, fun voice messaging! It lets you send quick voice messages that feel just like using an old-school walkie-talkie. It’s the perfect way to bring back the fun of real-time, spontaneous conversations with a modern twist! ?? We are so excited to announce that Piedmont Consulting Group will be working with Urban Angels SF to support our first philanthropy project! Urban Angels SF is a nonprofit dedicated to helping unhoused children through education and support programs. From Italy to UC Berkeley!! I had the pleasure of meeting Nicolas Lorenzo Zeoli at the INNOVIT - Italian Innovation and Culture Hub in SF. The event featured a variety of innovative companies and ambitious founders from Italy. One standout was Ganiga, founded by Nicolas. Ganiga is currently disrupting the waste management industry in Italy. I was impressed with their mission and product, and I felt a strong desire to get involved. Coincidentally, our student organization, Piedmont Consulting Group, was actively seeking new clients. Instead of reaching out to corporate giants like Google, Apple, and Amazon, we saw an incredible opportunity to collaborate with startups. This not only allows Berkeley students to see the direct impact of their efforts but also offers a chance to connect with the founders of these companies. Our project team was thrilled to talk with Nicolas, and learn more about the waste management space. Special thanks to Jaade Gillespie, our exceptional project manager, as well as consultants Arturo Estrada and Sharon Vuong for joining this conversation.
