I've always been interested in mechanical things, so the two just came together later in life and here I am. What do you LOVE about Piedmont? ?? First and foremost, I appreciate the close-knit atmosphere. Within this close-knit environment, there are other avenues for growth, especially in the maintenance field, allowing anyone to explore different aspects of the department. Lastly, I admire the longevity here; not many companies have had people working for 30, 35, 40+ years. With all that combined, it makes for the love of Piedmont. So how do we inspire and empower the next generation of AMTs to ensure a strong future for aviation maintenance? We engage with industry leaders, airline professionals, educators and maintenance schools at conferences like Aviation Technician Education Council (ATEC) to build meaningful relationships and drive our industry forward. This past week, our maintenance leadership team delivered an inspiring keynote address and led a valuable skill-building workshop on the future use of virtual reality in our training programs while our maintenance recruiting team talked to every attendee.
