Empowering Young Women in Lodhran Through Tech Education Our partner Tareen Education Foundation (TEF) is bridging the digital divide in Lodhran, an underserved rural area in South Punjab, Pakistan. TEF’s commitment to transforming education in government schools aligns perfectly with our mission to create equitable career pathways. TEF has launched a MERN Stack Training Program, designed to equip young women with in-demand tech skills that open doors to meaningful employment in the digital economy. This initiative, conducted at Amina Girls High School—one of TEF's core schools—has enrolled 17 female students. These young learners are embarking on a journey to master both frontend and backend development. The course is structured to guide them step by step, beginning with basic computing and progressing to advanced web development using the MERN Stack, one of the most sought-after frameworks in today’s tech industry. By empowering these students with rigorous training, a supportive learning environment, and access to industry-relevant skills, TEF and Pledges aim to prepare them for life-changing opportunities. Introducing our newest partner CoderSchool (IT W21) in Vietnam. CoderSchool is an online coding school based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, offering programs in Data Science, Full Stack Web Development, and Game Development. The CoderSchool courses are designed with a one-on-one mentorship model, making high-quality tech education accessible to learners across Vietnam. Our collaboration is aimed at enhancing educational offerings, expanding job placement opportunities for the graduates and trainees, and fostering industry connections to ensure our learners are positioned for success. Through this partnership, 30 learners will have access to a financial support program with even more tailored resources, professional development tools, and job opportunities to accelerate their careers in tech. Vivian Okpalaeke shares her journey and experience: Studying 3D Character and Environment Development at Magic Lab Academy has been an amazing experience. Before joining, I had the passion but struggled with how to start or channel it. The hands-on approach and the support from the academy have helped me take real steps toward achieving this vision. Every day, I believe I’m growing and improving in ways I didn’t think were possible. My tutors have been such a big part of this journey, always there to guide me with patience and encouragement, making even the most challenging parts of the course feel manageable.
