Recently,?Jeremy Harwood, Daniel Mummert, PE, and Curtis DeVault, MA, GISP shared a presentation on UAS professional practice with the UAS Seminar Class at Montana Technological University. Their presentation emphasized critical aspects of professional UAS practice, including safety protocols, operational and maintenance procedures, guidelines for establishing control, methods for data validation, and industry-standard reporting. ? The seminar attendees comprised students from diverse engineering and science disciplines, all seeking to integrate UAS technology into their future careers. Hosted by Geological Engineering Professor, Dr. Mary MacLaughlin, the Drone Seminar is designed to expose students to industry practices in UAS technology through guest lectures from technical professionals. ?
