    Cold Fill vs. Hot Fill ? Different methods. Unique benefits. Both will impact your finished product and come with some tradeoffs.. Let’s go deeper: ?? Cold Fill Process ~ ? Ingredients are added to containers without heat. ? Typically used for products that are more temperature sensitive (think functional ingredients like pre / probiotics) Benefits ~ ? This preserves the ingredient's most natural state, taste and nutritional value. ? It can simplify the packaging process for more delicate formulations. ? This is ideal for small to mid-sized batches where product quality is the biggest priority. Best for ~ ? Sauces, dressings, juices and certain beverages that require no thermal processing and aim to maintain flavor and nutritional integrity. Cost ~ ? Cold Filling can be more labor-intensive and require precise handling, most likely increasing costs in comparison to Hot Filling. ? However, this enables a brand to offer a unique, premium product that consumers associate with functionality, freshness and top tier quality. ?? Hot Fill Process ~ ? Ingredients are heated to a specific temperature before being poured into containers. ? Containers are sealed while the product is still hot to create a vacuum seal. Production Benefits ~ ?     Food & Beverage is one of the most creative industries I've ever been a part of - and yet I believe almost no one views B2B pro's as "creatives” Spending the last few years working with supply chain managers, product development teams, consultants and F&B founders I’ve seen miracles happen. The job essentially requires you to be the most resourceful, innovative and iterative version of yourself - every day. Ask anyone in those roles, how often their day or product launch “goes according to plan” Only the most creative survive. That's who we're building for.

    Food & Beverage makes up almost 20% of the manufacturing sector in the US… and most cpg customers don’t even know it exists. To me, that’s one of the most exciting aspects of this space. As demands for transparency increase across the board, I think this awareness will change. While non-compete clauses, NDAs and brand equity play a huge role in keeping the B2B side of the industry out of the public eye I think there is a huge opportunity to lean in as a brand. Partnering with a co-man is one of the most intimate experiences a brand may have with another company and if that co-man truly becomes a partner, I think there’s a way to make that a part of the product and brand story. I do not think everyone needs to know what spray drying is, what a tolling manufacturer does or what tertiary packaging means ? But I do think there’s an opportunity to invite your customer into the process and let them into the ecosystem involved in bringing these products to life. Because my thesis is - that's where we are headed anyway. Do you think there’s a world where co-mans get to shine? #CPGmanufacturing #FoodandBeverage

    Manufacturers in F&B are not interested in more leads. They want high quality opportunities and less noise. I just spoke to a co-man who told me she would "take 2 solid opportunities a year, over 100 new leads" I hear this often. Manufacturers spend hours (if they even have the time) parsing through tons of inquiries they already get, most of which are folks just kicking the tires. On the other hand, brands, consultants, operators, etc. spend hours combing through page 17 of google search results after exhausting their own personal excel sheets to find someone - just to get a conversation going. In my eyes, the discovery process is where the leverage is - for both parties. As a creator and builder in this space, this is where I see the most opportunity. #PickYourPacker2025 #FoodandBeverage #Search #Contractmanufacturing #B2B #CPG
