Our comprehensive suite of services focuses on themes that are critical to Tribes, such as helping external partners better understand tribal sovereignty, self-determination & the Federal Trust responsibility, while honoring Tribal rights to government-to-government relationships. We are excited to support Tribes on their journeys towards climate resilience, energy sovereignty, and the clean energy transition.

At PICEA, we deeply value Tribal sovereignty, self-determination, and the Federal Trust Responsibility, and we are committed to fostering meaningful, government-to-government relationships that honor Tribal rights. Our mission is grounded in a **Tribal-Centered Approach**, which integrates the unique historical and cultural contexts of Tribal nations into every solution we provide. By leveraging our **Multidisciplinary Expertise**, we offer a holistic perspective on sustainability, development, and climate resilience that addresses both immediate and long-term needs. As PICEA's Principal Scientist and founder, I (Dr. Chas Jones) am excited to see how the business continues to grow. As a distinguished leader with 25 years of experience partnering with Tribes and Indigenous Peoples. I have been recognized as a national expert in Tribal Climate Resilience, with numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and datasets. My interdisciplinary background spans climate science, hydrology, engineering, environmental policy, biology, social sciences, and strategic leadership.
