Excited to share that I had the incredible opportunity to immerse myself in the world of motorsports at Talladega Superspeedway, thanks to Carla H. Blakey, PhD, Diana Garrett, and the University of Alabama's Sports Management Program! During this eye-opening experience, I got to look into every aspect of what it takes to bring a race of this magnitude to life. From understanding the ropes of race operations to learning about the pivotal roles of each team member, I gained invaluable insights into the behind-the-scenes workings of Talladega Superspeedway. From the adrenaline rush of the track to the meticulous planning behind the scenes, it was an unforgettable 5 hours that deepened my appreciation for the dedication and teamwork required to make such events a success. A huge thank you to the University of Alabama's Sports Management Program for another incredible opportunity, and to the entire team at Talladega Superspeedway for their hospitality and expertise. I'm excited to announce that I've been elected as the Vice President of Alumni Relations for the Delta Sigma Pi-Alpha Sigma Chapter for the upcoming school year. It's a privilege to be entrusted with this role and to work alongside an amazing team of individuals. I look forward to collaborating with the new executive board and contributing to the ongoing success and expansion of our chapter's alumni network.

This past Saturday, The University of Alabama hosted its annual spring football game, “A-Day.” I had the privilege of working for LEARFIELD as an intern, assisting with the trophy tent and later working LED advertisements on the field for the game. This was an awesome experience, and I want to extend my gratitude to Patrick Lally for this opportunity. I am excited to continue interning for Learfield this fall during game days and to enhance my knowledge in the sports marketing landscape.

I am excited to announce I have accepted a position at Grant Thornton LLP (US) in their downtown Chicago office as a Digital Tax Consultant Associate upon graduation from the The University of Alabama. I’m grateful for the support in the hiring process from Jenna Hall, Julia Rubenstein, Lindsay Miller, CPA, and Ray Vizza, CMI. Also thank you to the UA MIS program and my fellow students for keeping me prepared and on the right track to advance my career. Excited to take on this new challenge and be apart of GT!
