关于我们
Pi Kappa Alpha was founded in Room 47 West Range at the University of Virginia in 1868. Since then, it's developed into an international brotherhood and become one of the largest fraternal organizations in the world. How? It's simple. Pi Kappa Alpha has remained dedicated to developing men of integrity, intellect, success and high moral character, and to fostering a truly lifelong fraternal experience. Our members continue to have a positive impact on their campuses, their communities and throughout their life. We believe the fraternal experience makes better men, better friends, better husbands, better fathers, and better citizens.

This is your chance to make PIKE history! ?? For 157 years, Pi Kappa Alpha has been shaped by leaders, traditions, and defining moments, but there’s still so much history left to uncover. Ever wondered what the Founders discussed in their first meetings? Where the idea for composites came from? Why International Conventions were established? The Historical Society holds many of these answers, but some mysteries remain. With your support, the Dr. Jerome V. Reel, Jr. Curatorial Studies Fellowship Fund will help a student researcher uncover and preserve PIKE’s untold stories. ?? From the Archives: In the 1930s, Dr. Hart discovered an 1871 Alpha Chapter composite, the oldest known to exist. While a copy was placed in the museum, the original vanished—until last year, when the McCollum family generously donated it back to the Fraternity. Now, it’s finally home. Tomorrow is Founders Day of Giving, but why wait? Make your gift today and set the tone for an incredible day of giving! Give now: www.pikes.org/reel #FoundersDayofGiving #PreservePIKE

The PIKE story begins! Founders Day of Giving is tomorrow! ?? On March 1, 1868, at 47 West Range in Charlottesville, Virginia, four young men—Frederick Southgate Taylor, Littleton Waller Tazewell (Bradford), James Benjamin Sclater Jr., and Robertson Howard—laid the foundation of Pi Kappa Alpha. Their vision of integrity, character, and leadership shaped generations and built a brotherhood that thrives today. As we prepare for Founders Day of Giving tomorrow, we reflect on the history that brought us here and the legacy we continue to build. ?? From the Archives: The Dr. Freeman H. Hart Memorial Museum in Memphis houses artifacts from PIKE’s earliest days including the personal photo album of Frederick Southgate Taylor, featuring over 50 historical images. Some faces in the album remain unidentified, a task we hope our first Reel Fellow will help uncover! Be part of PIKE’s history and donate now: www.pikes.org/reel #FoundersDayofGiving #PreservePIKE
