Providing the highest quality treatment in a safe and caring environment.

关于我们

Physicians Surgical Hospitals deliver quality care to the Texas Panhandle from two surgical centers, Panhandle Surgical Hospital and Quail Creek Surgical Hospital; one physical therapy center, Quail Creek Physical Therapy; and a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center, Advanced Imaging Center of Amarillo. In 2007, Quail Creek Surgical Hospital and Panhandle Surgical Hospital merged to form Physicians Surgical Hospitals. As the Amarillo area grew, Physicians Surgical Hospitals grew as well. In June 2018, Quail Creek Physical Therapy became the next Physicians Surgical Hospitals facility. This acquisition allowed patients to continue their individualized treatment plan after surgery. In February 2020, Physicians Surgical Hospitals brought Advanced Imaging Center of Amarillo into the fold. It is the mission of the hospitals and its physician partners to provide the highest quality treatment in a safe and caring environment. Physicians Surgical Hospitals has 40 licensed beds between the two surgical hospitals, 29 physician partners and more than 200 credentialed physicians on the medical staff. Physicians Surgical Hospitals have been named among the nation’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare for nine years.

  • Everyone, please help me congratulate these two very deserving DAISY Award winners for 2024 – Alisha Heath, RN, at Quail Creek Surgical Hospital PACU and Yanira Marrufo, RN, at Panhandle Surgical Hospital PSU Night Shift. The DAISY Nurse is an international recognition program that honors the skillful, compassionate care nurses provide every day. Alisha’s nomination read: She was there to hold my daughter Millie’s hand during her blood patch. She comforted her, prayed with her and retrieved her blood on the first try although Millie’s veins are very challenging to hit. When Millie had her second blood path, Alisha was leaving her shift but saw my daughter and came back. She was told that she didn't have to stay, and she assured everyone “there’s no place she would rather be.” Skill and heart! Yanira’s nomination read: Yani helped me with my first walks after surgery. She took extra time to teach me how to go both up and down the stairs. She helped me to correct my old “bad” posture and maintain my position in the walker to avoid falls. She was happy to assist me and increased my confidence in how to use my walker. Thank you! Congrats ladies! We are so proud of you and the care that you give to our patients.

  • ??? Quail Creek Physical Therapy Patient Spotlight?? ? This is James Davis, a physical therapy patient at Quail Creek Physical Therapy (QCPT). James recently had surgery on his right knee and is now at QCPT on his road to recovery. Here is what James had to say about his experience at QCPT, “all the therapists at QCPT are excellent and knowledgeable. They have all helped encourage me and gave me a wonderful experience.” James has enjoyed coming to therapy because he knows it helps him and he is ready to have more function. He said, “When I complete physical therapy, I am looking forward to just driving by QCPT and waving from the road.” Nate, one of the therapists who has helped James along, also commented on James' experience. "James has been doing great. He’s always willing to work hard and trusts us to lead him in the right direction. We've enjoyed working with him and are glad he's progressing well.” Thanks, James, for being our #PatientSpotlight! We look forward to featuring more patients and the progress they make at #QCPT! #Amarillo #PhysicalTherapy
