We love hearing this awesome news from a patient at our Bristol clinic! Read this patient's journey of running the Chicago Marathon with the help of Partner Matt Baronowski: "8 months ago I found out I was selected to run the Chicago Marathon, 1 of the 6 majors in the world. I had never ran a marathon so I immediately started over training, injuring myself in the process. With back pain and bursitis in my hip my dr referred me to Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine of Bristol, where I met Matt Baronowski. For the next 8 month Matt worked on putting me back together and getting me Marathon ready. There were days where I had to push through uncomfortable pain, wanting to give up, giving Matt the side eye and yes crying. On October 13, 2024 I completed my first marathon and became a part of the 1% of the population. Matt, I can’t thank you enough for all that you did for me, not only did you put me back together but your encouragement and fight helped me cross that finish line. If anyone needs a PT guy run, walk or crawl to see my guy Matt, he is simply the BEST! Matt’s entire staff is incredible, the moment you step inside his center it’s like you are family.??????♀?"

We are excited to tell you that our PTSMC Essex clinic will be transitioning to new space in the coming months! We will temporarily see patients at 125 Westbrook Road in the old Bank of America building while we await the completion of our state-of-the-art, brand new space. We anticipate that by January we will be in our new space next door to DG Market. Regardless of what you may be told, Connecticut laws allow you to choose your physical therapist. PTSMC wants to be your physical therapist of choice and your physical therapist for life. PTSMC is proud to be part of the Essex community, and we look forward to continuing your care.
