What is PKOC? PSIA hosts webinar Feb 12 The PSIA will host a webinar on February 12. 2025 to provide updates on PKOC and its application in the market.?We will be sharing information on how to design an access control system featuring PKOC and also the companies that have products available to support a PKOC integration. The following topics will be covered, and people will participate in the webinar: ·???????PKOC over OSDP Rodney Thayer-Smithee ·???????PKOC IFC Cards GW Habraken-Taglio ·???????PKOC Bluetooth Readers David Edwin–EMSi ·???????Case Study Jack Ryan–Last Lock ·???????Certification Jason Ouellette-Elatec Time will be available for Q&A to provide more perspective on PKOC and how it is disrupting the access control market. Happy to share this interview with Ed Chandler chatting with us about PKOC!
Have you heard of PKOC? I’m starting to hear people say that PKOC may be the future of access control credentialing.?Here, Ed Chandler with Security By Design, Inc. discusses the benefits to both operations and security. Larry Anderson describes PKOC as “a standards-based mobile credential that is essentially free, vendor agnostic, and interoperable across multiple devices and systems. It is a highly secure access credential that can live on a mobile phone, in a plastic access card, or in any device capable of generating a public-private key pair”. Jason Ouellette and the team at Software House Access Control + Event Management house are playing a key role in helping to bring this technology to the mainstream.

?????? ???????????? ?????????????? ?????????? ?? ?????????????? ???????????????? For decades, access control has been locked into outdated, proprietary systems – creating security risks, high costs, and integration challenges. PKOC (Public Key Open Credential) changes that. As the first open standard for access control, it removes vendor lock-in, enhances security with bank-grade card encryption, and enables both NFC card and Bluetooth smartphone access. The access control industry is shifting. Businesses that adapt will gain stronger security, lower costs, greater flexibility, and a system that keeps pace with evolving technology. In my latest blog, co-authored with???.??. ????????????????, we break down what PKOC means for the future of access control. ???????? ???? ????????:?https://lnkd.in/e8b_eWD6 #AccessControl #Security #PKOC #PhysicalSecurity #BuildingSecurity #EnterpriseSecurity #CyberSecurity #NFC #Bluetooth #Authentication #SmartAccess #ITSecurity #TechInnovation #FutureOfSecurity

The last two days were spent at PSIA technical meetings putting PKOC to work! Interoperability in the works!
PKOC Credential testing in Austin today. Thanks to Acre for hosting us! Multiple cards, multiple mobile apps, multiple readers, "genetically separate implementations" exercising interoperability.
