Non-profit corporation working to improve public health & science communication via outreach, podcasts, and articles. PHU first started out as a podcast on science communication in 2013 and incorporated into a 501(1)c3 in 2017 by Dr. Nina M. Martin, scientist and science communicator at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. To create this culture of curiosity, critical thinking and science engagement, PHU’s Executive Board of Directors, volunteers, and interns are working to bring you excellent, evidence-based science engagement via the science communication podcast, research, K-12 after school science teaching by scientists, community engagement, educational videos including our scientist gameshow.
