Imagine you’re in France, surrounded by artists from around the world, and suddenly someone asks, “Hey, where ya from?” ???? You reply in your best Wisconsin accent: “Oh, I’m from Wisco, dontcha know!” ?? Cue the puzzled looks as you casually talk about brats, Green Bay Packers and ice fishing, all with that Midwest twang. Turns out, “ope” doesn’t translate so well, but it sure gets a smile!
