Emmy Winning Journalist ? Producer & EP of The M Factor, Shredding The Silence On Menopause ? Author of How To Menopause? Women's Health Advocate ? Host of "The Tamsen Show" Podcast
I’m so excited to share the trailer for ‘The M Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause,’ the first menopause documentary of its kind. This film started as an idea with Emmy award-winning producer?joanne lamarca mathisen?and came to life with filmmaker and health advocate?Denise Pines?and documentarian Jacoba Atlas. For the last few years, we’ve been traveling the country to dive deep into the reality of menopause—what we face, what we feel, and what we deserve to know. 'The M Factor' tackles everything from the physical and emotional challenges of menopause to the systemic issues women face in getting the care and support they need. We hear from leading doctors, workplace advocates, and women from all walks of life about the real impact of menopause on our bodies, minds, and careers. This film explores the hidden impact of menopause on women’s lives. With evidence-based information, the film empowers women to make informed health decisions and aims to remove the stigma surrounding menopause and aging. Watch it on PBS and stream it online starting October 17th.
