  • The Early Learning Center and Manavon Elementary gathered around 1,800 boxes of cereal for PACS! To commemorate this remarkable accomplishment, the school set up an impressive domino trail that ran through the building. We’d like to thank everyone at PASD who contributed to collecting all these boxes! ??

  • Celebrating 20 Years! As of today, November 11, 2024, Maria Jordan has dedicated two full decades to PACS! Throughout these years, she has been the person many of our guests can rely on. Her commitment and hard work have played a vital role in shaping PACS into what it is today. We honored her accomplishments with a surprise party. Volunteers and staff joined together to celebrate this significant milestone! Thank you, Maria, for everything you have contributed to PACS. In Mary's words: “There isn’t a PACS without Maria!” ??

  • Last week, we hosted a special ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially inaugurate our new ~2,100 square foot refrigeration system. It was a pleasure to have Senator Katie Muth, County Commissioner Marian Moskowitz, and Phoenixville’s Mayor Peter Urscheler join us for the occasion. We also welcomed representatives from the offices of US Representative Chrissy Houlahan, US Senator Bob Casey, PA State Representative Paul Friel and PA State Representative Melissa Shusterman. Our current PACS Board Chair, Sue Starling, helped us honor our former Board Chair, Fred Hubler Jr., expressing our heartfelt appreciation for his years of dedication and hard work within the PACS organization, while wishing him all the best in his future endeavors. It was a wonderful evening filled with joy, honoring past achievements and embracing new beginnings. We’d like to extend our thanks to everyone who attended and shared in this significant milestone with us. ??

  • Fred's back in the warehouse! And who are all of those wonderful people that he brought with him?? Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting Fred and his brothers from GoBundance Elite here at PACS. The group spent their afternoon volunteering in our warehouse, sorting fresh foods and nonperishables, and stocking our shelves. It is always a delight to have new volunteers assisting us, allowing us to raise awareness about food insecurity and share our passion for serving our community. Thank you Fred and the members of GoBundance for sharing your time with us! ??

  • In June, Mike, Dan and Karissa of Piazza Subaru of Limerick welcomed us for their "Subaru Loves To Care Month" initiative. Throughout the month, they gathered donations for each car sold in addition to receiving contributions from local establishments like Kinder Care. In the end, they collected a total of 1,057 lbs.! This generous donation will greatly assist over 350 neighbors supported by PACS. A big thank you to Mike, Dan, Karissa, and all the team at Piazza Subaru for your kindness and generosity. We eagerly anticipate collaborating with you again in the future! ??

  • We're bigger and better than ever! ?? Our market expansion gives us additional floor space to serve more neighbors with dignity and respect. With shorter lines outside, individuals visiting PACS will spend less time standing outside, especially in harsh weather during the hot and cold seasons. As an added bonus, the expanded Market space provides us more shelf space, creating room for more food distribution! As the market continues to grow, we will be sure to share further updates!??

  • "June is Subaru Loves To Care Month" Our newest ACSG participants are Mike Hinkle, General Manager and Karissa Keebler, Customer Care Managers at Piazza Subaru of Limerick PA. They shared that June is their month for giving back. Subaru is currently partnered with Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to donate blankets to cancer patients. In addition to the blanket donation, they were looking to support a local cause in need during June. Mike, being a lifelong resident of Phoenixville, suggested that PACS would be an ideal choice. Their goal is to fill every Subaru in the Showroom with items from our Hot List, as well as to have the need to bring in more vehicles into the showroom to be filled during the whole month of June. There are currently 4 cars available to fill. We are so grateful to Mike and Karissa for including PACS in their June “Loves To Care” initiative. Their support will enable us to provide more food for numerous families in our community. ??
