“Today, millions of women in Afghanistan cannot even dream [of becoming] someone in the future. The only thing they can do is sit at home.” - Hadeia Amiry Earlier this month, we had the privilege of hearing Hadeia Amiry, Senior Fellow for the Indo-Pacific Security Program at The Center for a New American Security (CNAS), speak on the vital role of women in peacebuilding and global security. She highlighted the devastating impact of the Taliban regime on women in Afghanistan and urged greater policy measures to prioritize women's inclusion in decision-making. Amiry emphasized that this inclusion isn’t just about equity—it’s a cornerstone for effective peacebuilding and lasting global stability. Her calls to action: to advocate for policies that uplift women, spread awareness, and support organizations empowering women in conflict zones. Thank you to all who joined us for this powerful program. View photos from the event at pcfraz.org/video-gallery. #Women #Peacebuilding #GlobalSecurity
