We were thrilled to host our 2024 Presidents Circle donors this past weekend! The event featured a backcountry trip to Urraca camp, including a hike to Inspiration Point, and a sunrise breakfast at the Stockade. Attendees also enjoyed a tour of the Miners Park forest, where PSA member and Cimarron District Forester Mary Stuever shared insights about Philmont’s restorative thinning initiative. The beautiful fall weather complemented the delightful dinners at Casa del Corazon and Cimarron Mercantile. A heartfelt thank you to all of our Presidents Circle donors for their ongoing support. The PSA Volunteer Vacation team has done it again! This year's exceptional crew surpassed expectations, completing the trail construction to the proposed Hangfire trail camp and beyond. ? Their phenomenal efforts included digging backslope, removing stubborn stumps, and filling stump holes. Hard hats off to this incredible group of trail blazers–with a special shout-out to Phil Winegardner for leading the team, and deep gratitude to everyone who participated!
