Board members are expected to attend meetings, serve on at least one board committee, participate in discussions and decision-making related to policies for organizational governance, represent PhillyCAM publicly, participate in long-range planning, approve the annual budget, and other responsibilities as needed. This year the Board of Directors is seeking new board members with human resources, non-profit administration and fundraising experience. There are 6 open seats for the 2024 Board Election 2 Members who Self-Nominate 1 Member Nominated by a Media Justice Organization 3 Members Nominated by a Non-Profit or PhillyCAM Member Organization What does being a PhillyCAM Board member entail? We're recruiting for the next cohort of PhillyCAM / WPPM Community Radio News fellows! Open to emerging journalists and storytellers in the Philly area, participants will engage in a 4-month fellowship to develop skills using audio to tell stories about the things going on in their communities, while helping to produce six episodes of a radio news magazine program that will air between April and June, 2024.
