Thank you to New Jersey Planning Officials for selecting the Borough of Garwood’s Vermella Phase II project for an Achievement in Planning Award. This downtown transit-oriented development close to NJ Transit's Garwood rail station implemented a redevelopment plan prepared by Phillips Preiss for the Borough. Mayor Jen Blumenstock and Planning Board Chairman Stephen Greet of Garwood and Phillips Preiss Principal Paul Grygiel were recently presented this award by NJPO Executive Director Jason Kasler.

The New Milford, NJ Planning Board unanimously adopted the 2024 Master Plan Reexamination Report and plan element amendments. This document is the first comprehensive update of the Borough's Master Plan in 10 years and provides numerous recommendations to enhance livability, economic development and environmental sustainability.
