#WINCSummit2024 attracted tradeswomen, union and apprenticeship leaders from all over in the name of a great mission. Rep. Joseph Hohenstein and several others were in attendance to learn how to attract and support women to thrive in skilled trades careers in the Philadelphia region! This week we launched a Fair Chance implementation series with a group of eight Philadelphia employers committed to deepening career opportunities for jobseekers with past convictions. We've been thrilled to partner with Philadelphia Works, Inc., The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia, and the National Reentry Workforce Collaborative (NRWC) with support and leadership from JPMorganChase. These place-based Fair Chance initiatives are a great way to encourage peer learning, facilitate partnerships between employers and local reentry/workforce organizations, and build local ecosystems that drive a culture of thoughtful and inclusive hiring practices.
