Please join us in congratulating Craig Hall on becoming a PGA Half Century Member, and Barry Dear and Kevin Edwards on becoming PGA Quarter Century Members! PGA of America Golf Professionals who have served the PGA of America with honor and pride for 50 years are elected to the Half Century Club, while PGA Professionals who have served the Association for 25 years are elected to the Quarter Century Club. This elite group is recognized for their longstanding commitment to growing our great sport with a letter from the PGA President, a special Half or Quarter Century Club certificate, and a gold Half or Quarter Century Club lapel pin.

The Philadelphia PGA Section has organized a complimentary networking event for PGA of America Associates on Thursday, April 24 at 5:30 p.m. in Aronimink Golf Club's new coaching and club fitting facility. In addition to networking with peers, Titleist's Jerry McGoey and Senior Fitting Professional Michael Parker will lead a discussion on club fitting along with providing some prizes for long drive and closest to the hole contests. Philadelphia PGA Hall of Fame Member Jeff Kiddie recently sat down with Harry Donahue and Inside Golf to discuss his career, and how get got his start in the golf business, which led him to become a PGA of America Golf Professional.

We were excited to kick off our 2025 season with our Spring Membership Meeting today at DuPont Country Club! The Section conducted its official business and honored our 2024 awards class. Section Past President Tom Carpus and Section President Chip Richter also recognized longtime PGA of America Golf Professional Clark Luis of Valley Country Club in Sugarloaf, Pa., for his 20 years of service on the PGA of America's Rules of Golf Committee. Following the meeting, our PGA Professionals competed in a two-person scramble, with Brian Bergstol and Anthony Sebastianelli taking the top prize on DuPont's Championship Course, and host PGA Professional Michael Caldwell and Braden Shattuck winning on the Nemours Course.
