We must inspire the next generation of architects and designers by engaging with K-12 students, and you can do that now by volunteering for #ArchitectureWeek (April 7-11) 2025. You or your firm can get involved by visiting one of DesignPhiladelphia's partner schools to lead a Career Pathways presentation or facilitate a DE standard in-class workshop. HIGHLIGHT: Raphaella Pereira, Assoc. AIA shares her Perspective!?! ??? "Being in the early stages of my own architectural career, I know how important it is to have a supportive community and access to opportunities that help us grow in the profession. The Philadelphia design community has opened my eyes to so many possibilities in which we can celebrate design; I think it’s important that everyone gets a seat at the table to experience these moments - especially those who are just getting started and are looking for their path. As I step into the role of Director for the Philadelphia Emerging Architects (PEA), my goal is to create more spaces that allow emerging professionals to grow and learn from the rest of the Philadelphia design community, building meaningful connections and finding the resources they need to succeed within our community. I’m passionate about mentorship and helping young professionals navigate the challenges of the field, so I’m excited to become the next leader that will help provide more opportunities that will strengthen our emerging community and shape the future of designers of Philadelphia." #PhiladelphiaDesign #EmergingArchitects #YoungProfessionals #ArchitectureCommunity #AIAPhiladelphia #PhiladelphiaEmergingArchitects
