It was an honor to be represented at PECO's Employee Giving Campaign (EGC) Kick-Off Rally earlier this week, alongside fellow Philadelphia area non-profits, at PECO headquarters as part of the company’s Stronger Together annual fundraising initiative launch. The audience had an opportunity to hear from PECO’s President and CEO David M. Velazquez, SVP and COO Nicole LeVine, Senior Engineer Iris Boci, and others, who shared why the EGC resonates so deeply with each of them. They also underscored the impact of PECO’s longstanding tradition of serving the community from both the corporate and individual employee levels, through volunteerism and monetary contributions. Our PEF Team had lovely conversations with dozens of PECO employees who were interested in hearing more about our work in the college access and success space, as well as in STEM education and professional networks. Thank you to PECO for their ongoing partnership and enthusiastic support, and for including us in the Stronger Together EGC kick-off rally!

The Philadelphia Education Fund seeks a consultant to provide an evaluation of CASE, the College Access and Success Ecosystem, a collective action effort aimed at strengthening high school and college graduation rates for Philadelphia students. The evaluator will bring experience consulting on collective impact projects and support CASE in defining its aim, shared metrics, associated logic model and theory of change, and data collection and reporting methods. The timeframe for the evaluation is from October 2024 - June 2025.
