Do you know the origin story of PNC? Phil Neto, a native of Portugal, is the second oldest of six siblings. He left Portugal in May of 1966 and relocated to Paris, France in search of a better life. In Paris, he worked as a mason and in a barber shop. After two years, he immigrated to the United States and worked for MN Almeida Construction for 14 years. He met his wife, Aida, at a Portuguese dance at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Newark and they married in December of 1968. Phil became a U.S. citizen in March 1983 and, in April 1983, established PNC with specialties in masonry and concrete. The company grew steadily throughout the years into one of the top site work and concrete subcontractors in New Jersey today.
