Meet Benny Shapira, Senior Director at Phibro Aqua. For 7 years, Benny Shapira has been an integral part of Phibro Aqua, serving as the Senior Director and leading the global team in crafting and executing Phibro’s Aqua strategy. When asked about his role, Benny explains, “I’m responsible for guiding our team in building a successful business that not only meets the current demands of the aquaculture industry but also anticipates and innovates for the future. My goal is to generate sustainable solutions that truly make a difference.” Based in Israel, Benny’s journey is backed by a robust educational foundation, including a master’s degree in business management and animal science, alongside a bachelor’s degree in marine science. This unique blend of knowledge has equipped him with the insights needed to navigate the complex challenges of the aquaculture industry on a global scale. When questioned about what drives him, Benny’s passion is evident: “Aquaculture has always fascinated me, and the need for effective solutions in this field motivates me every day. I’m driven by the potential to create real, positive change in how we approach aquaculture worldwide.” Outside the demanding scope of his work, Benny finds solace in the great outdoors, where he enjoys camping and hiking with friends and family.
