During the month of February, Bruce's Furniture held a “Kiss Cancer Goodbye” promotion and donated a portion of the proceeds to the Phelps Memorial Oncology and Infusion Center. We’re thrilled to share that our Obstetrics Department recently received brand-new bassinets, and our first mom and baby have already gotten to use them! Here is what the new mom had to say about them: "PMHC has new bassinets, and I was lucky to be one of the first to try them! They adjust up and down, making diaper changes easy without bending over. They also roll smoothly and quietly, so I never worried about my baby waking up when nurses came in. Overall, I’m very impressed and excited that other moms will be able to use them!" These new bassinets are designed with both moms and babies in mind, offering comfort, convenience, and ease of use. Celebrating the Babies Born in 2024! This past year, 88 babies were born at Phelps Memorial Health Center! ?- 44 boys ?- 44 girls -?32 new mothers trusted us to bring their little ones into the world While we celebrate these arrivals, we also tenderly remember and honor the two precious babies born still sleeping. Our hearts are with their families, and they remain in our thoughts.
