Dream client + dream collaboration = dreamy website reveal ?? Megan Boddum does *the* coolest work. And she’s incredibly good at it. She came to us with years of experience running children’s user research projects for clients like Netflix, LEGO Education, LeapFrog, and The Walt Disney Company. (??Is your jaw on the floor? Ours were, too.) Oh, and she did/does all this ~very cool~ work while teaching children’s research education courses. At institutions you MAY have heard of…like Harvard, Stanford, NYU, and the NIH. (If your jaw wasn’t on the floor before…????!!) Safe to say credibility wasn’t Megan’s problem. Neither was education or experience. The problems only started when Megan tried to convey that credibility, education, and experience online. In her words: “I felt like I had all the experience in the world and a great business but I couldn't properly convey it with words.” (#Relatable #BeenThere #OmgSAME) ??So, Kira at Handle & Hone got to work digging into Megan’s audience and goals, then honing her messaging and copy. The results were *hearts for eyes emoji*...but that was only half the battle. Without on-brand design and a good user experience, the words could only do so much. Megan needed to make sure the words popped and the website flowed. So she called in the big guns: Mariah at Phased Design. ??And all you need to do is glance at the finished product to know that Mariah hit it out of the park. The best part about this collab is how we all made each other better. ????Kira’s copy streamlined Mariah’s design process.? ????Mariah’s design made Kira’s copy more effective. ????Megan not only brought the heart, soul, and vision to the project—she managed this whole collab, pushing it to another level. TL;DR: we worked hard and celebrated harder *as a team* when the website went live. And in the world of independent, remote, online work we live in? That felt really good.
