To wrap up #healthcare week, we're proud to showcase our work at Beacon Pediatrics. ?? ? Designed to bring hope and comfort to families, this 12,000-SF, nautical-themed facility on the Massachusetts South Shore features 24 exam rooms, 11 offices, and playful details like sea creature graphics, waves leading through the office, and a lighthouse-themed check-out area. With a soothing palette of blues, teal, greige, and salmon, the space creates a welcoming ambiance for young patients. Our architecture, interior design, and branding teams collaborated to make this vision a reality, and we're thrilled to bring these design services to Colliers Engineering & Design as we expand our healthcare support! ? For our #healthcare week, we're highlighting our work on the Bristol Hospital Emergency Department in Bristol, CT, designed to bring hope, help, and healing to the community. This project encompasses a 16,190-square-foot addition and a 7,722-square-foot renovation, resulting in 23,912 square feet dedicated to cutting-edge emergency care. From the beginning, our team collaborated closely with hospital staff, administrators, and even patient and family groups to create a space designed by and for those who use it. Every detail, including the expansive infinity layout and the positioning of patient rooms within caregivers' sightlines, was thoughtfully designed to prioritize safety, enhance efficiency, and create an environment where patients and providers can flourish. As we join Colliers Engineering & Design, we're excited to bring these capabilities to a broader network, enhancing our ability to serve healthcare clients with expanded services and resources. Exciting news! Quarry Walk has won First Place in the Associated Builders and Contractors of Connecticut Awards! ?? ? As the architect for Haynes Group, Inc we're thrilled to be part of the team that brought this transformative vision to life. Situated on 30 acres of a former rock quarry in Oxford, CT, Quarry Walk has become a vibrant, mixed-use destination serving the Central Connecticut community. This grocery-anchored development spans over 300,000 SF, combining #retail, #dining, #healthcare, #office space, and luxury #residential options. The site features a Town Green, a multi-use band shell for events, a clock tower, covered walkways, and ample outdoor dining areas, creating a lively community hub. ? Initially built in 1875 as the nation's first cotton fishing net manufacturer, this 117,000 SF landmark now serves as corporate office space, with suites of various sizes and layouts for tenants. Our team revitalized the lobby and common areas, blending the building's brick-and-beam architecture with updated design elements. Expansive windows flood the spaces with natural light, and refreshed amenities cater to modern tenant needs, creating a welcoming environment for today's workforce. ?
