    Ghosting… it’s literally the worst, and companies endorsing it will pay a price. Word travels fast in the job search world. You can't keep using the excuse of "tough job markets" and "hard to find good candidates." This practice is literally just about respect. Poor corporate decisions with recruitment resources won't stay hidden for long. In my opinion, ghosting professionals means one thing: You care less about people, and more about business. It’s possibly the largest red flag ?? one can think of when it comes to finding great companies that respect employees. Job seekers, Steer clear of firms with a track record of ghosting candidates and posting ghost jobs. It typically means: - Poor communication processes - An overwhelmed HR department - General lack of respect for your time - Companies struggling to gauge interest And don’t forget: Let others know when it happens. My workaholic nature mixed with a toxic work environment mentally affected me and my closest relationships. No position—regardless of the salary or perks—should compromise: 1. Your Wellbeing 2.     ??A red alert to all hiring managers ?? If you already have a strong internal candidate in mind, please think twice before posting the job publicly. It's tough for job seekers to get excited about a role that's already likely filled. People who are unemployed are working hard to be able to support their families. Don't waste their time on a process that had no chance of getting them a job anyways. Stop giving false hope, start treating jobseekers with respect and value their time.     Job applications only need 2 buttons: 1. "Upload Resume" 2. "Submit" No more. Stop making it a chore. No one has time for 30-minute questionnaires on useless topics. Stop asking applicants to re-enter information that is already on the resume. Making applicants jump through hoops makes you and your company look inefficient. Want to weed out unqualified people?     It really is not hard to make an environment that priorities the well-being of employees. These companies just chose to not do it because their margins will decrease. Retail pharmacy is dying slowly everyday. pretty soon clinical pharmacy will follow the same route.
