been a little while but I finally started on Mishaal Khan's and Hisham Z. MBA, MS, CISSP's book The Phantom CISO. so far I'm about half way through the book. It's a great resource to help align yourself with the requirements of cyber security leadership and what it takes to build a good program. this book is great for everyone in IT to read but it's a must have for the guys in cyber who want to move up in their company. The book outlines a lot of what is needed in a CISO and how you can work toward that even if your not as technically inclined. Using hard work and strong communication skills you can build upon your expertise and add new skills along the way. it's a great book and resource. I'm glad I picked it up.
