PGAV Graphic Artist Erin Hopkins recently contributed her talents to an art project at Citygarden in St. Louis. Erin was one of three artists chosen to turn utility boxes around the sculpture garden into art.Erin’s piece at 9th and Market embodies the spirit of the park, combining peaceful natural components with a dynamic urban environment. The park's different energies inspired her. Erin notes, "The ‘quiet’ energy--tranquil spaces tucked away, buzzing pollinators, and lush flora all produce an energy that calls you back to Earth, slows you down, makes you take a breath. The ‘louder’ type--sharply-dressed business people with their clicking heels, friends laughing until they can't stop, people playing and dancing, makes you turn your head to look, feel inspired, or get amped up. These are two very different types of energy but are both equally powerful in creating the good vibes of Citygarden." Great job, Erin! Photo credit: https://buff.ly/4e5TFvW #citygarden #downtownstl
