Congratulations to #NRRA2023 Karen Cutts Visionary Award Stephanie Mapes! Stephanie recently retired from Paul Frank + Collins P.C. in Burlington, VT, after 35 years of practice in Captive Insurance and Risk Retention Group law. She led the Captive Insurance team at the Burlington, Vermont law firm of Paul Frank + Collins for her last 13 years before her retirement. She also served as President, the first woman at the firm to be elected to the position, providing unprecedented strengths-based leadership for the 50+ employee firm, through its succession into its next 50 years of practice. Stephanie is a pioneer and recognized leader in the captive insurance and risk retention group industry, serving clients and industry trade groups for all 35 of her years at the firm and a contributor to NRRA’s Government Affairs initiatives and successes for well over a decade.
