From Co-Founding Partner Darrell Cochran: After uncovering years of buried evidence, my team and I have reached a $19.25 million settlement on behalf of several of our clients sexually abused at Boys Village homes in Seattle and Eastern Washington operated by the Philadelphia Church. Attorney Michael McNeil, a leader on our work, calls the decades of abuse “a dynasty of pedophiles.” We know dozens of boys were victimized and more are out there. Learn more and contact us at our newly launched web page dedicated to exposing the truth about Boys Village. https://lnkd.in/g6DAjCcN

Pursuing Justice. Changing Lives.
关于我们
Our attorneys have dedicated their lives to helping people and businesses who have been severely injured or damaged by others. More often than not, those injuries and damages have been caused by defendants who have abused their power or have been reckless in their disregard of others. We leverage our experience in specific areas of the law to hold those defendants accountable and to assist those who are most in need.

From our Co-Founding Partner Darrell Cochran: After years of denial and burying the truth, the Seattle Archdiocese will pay our client $1.85M for child sexual abuse suffered at St. Louise Parish in Bellevue. Just as bad as the abuses, the Archdiocese failed to disclose the abuses and add Father Howard Lavelle to the public list of priests credibly accused of sexual abuse of children. Please watch the video to learn more. See the list of credibly accused priests here: https://lnkd.in/g7s_ysGb If you suffered sexual abuse anywhere in the Catholic Church, either at St. Louise or elsewhere, I urge you contact me. www.darrellcochranlaw.com

From our co-founding partner Darrell Cochran: The Washington State Senate has passed an important and badly needed bill (SB 5375) requiring clergy members to report child sexual and physical abuse and neglect. We battle every day on behalf of survivors against religious organizations like the Catholic Church, who continue to hide and protect child abusers – despite repeated promises of transparency and accountability. I applaud prime sponsor Sen. Noel Frame for continuing to fight for passage of this common sense and simple measure to protect children. As Senator Frame has repeatedly argued, religious leaders have a duty to report abuse so the state can intervene and take action. Church leaders continue to do all they can to protect themselves and the predators they know are lurking among them. There’s absolutely no reason to oppose this bill, except to continue knowingly hiding child abuse by those who profess a much higher calling and purpose. Enough is enough. #childabuse #church

New lawsuits allege a major NYC hospital system ignored warnings about a sexually abusive doctor—again. PCVA partner Mallory Allen spoke with the New York Post about the systemic failures that allowed Dr. Dennis Feihel to sexually abuse patients under the guise of medical treatment. “The fresh allegations against Northwell Health Systems come as the healthcare network also faces more than two dozen claims tied to another doctor, Darius Paduch, who was recently sentenced to life in prison for abusing hundreds of patients.” PCVA Law represents hundreds of sexual abuse survivors seeking justice. From our Co-Founding Partner Darrell Cochran: The recent, tragic death of a Pennsylvania police officer is a chilling reminder of the dangers of even the most common medical procedures. 26-year-old Ryan Kingerski took his own life last month after suffering non stop, long term pain and other debilitating complications from what should have been a run of the mill Lasik surgery procedure. While Lasik is considered generally safe and thousands of procedures are successfully performed each year, serious and permanent damages can and do occur. Some experts say far more frequently than most know. If you’ve suffered any adverse effects from your Lasik surgery, we can help. Contact us to learn how. Awful Lasik complications happen. But you don’t have to suffer alone.

From our Co-Founding Partner Darrell Cochran: It's happened again. Another week, another food recall. Trader Joe's has recalled its popular Organic Acai Bowl because of potential plastic contamination. It's just the latest in a seemingly never ending wave of food safety failures. With the government gutting all agencies, it's only going to get worse. Join us in the fight to protect food safety. I'm stepping up my vigilance and bringing all the power of the law to protect ourselves from the coming failures of our food safety systems. Contact me if you've suffered from serious food sickness. If the government won't protect us, we'll bring the full force of the law to bear! https://lnkd.in/gzpvq7WF https://lnkd.in/gpWPGf6r
