Schools across Marathon County came together for Knock Down Hunger, collecting cereal to stock school pantries for spring break and support families in need! For every box donated, Peyton’s Promise is providing a gallon of milk voucher, thanks to Kwik Trip, Inc., ensuring kids have access to a balanced breakfast. A huge thank you to the participating schools: DCE Middle School, Evergreen, Mountain Bay, Rothschild, Mosinee High School, Riverview, Grant Elementary School, and Newman Catholic High School. Your dedication is making a real difference! This year, Peyton’s Promise distributed 2,500 milk vouchers throughout Marathon County and is working toward its biggest goal yet—collecting 13,000 boxes of cereal! To make an even greater impact, we’re seeking corporate sponsors to help expand this initiative and reach more children. If your organization is interested, we’d love to connect! Join the Executive Board of Peyton’s Promise! Peyton’s Promise is currently accepting applications for new members to join our?Executive Board of Directors. This vital leadership group is responsible for supporting, empowering, and guiding our?25 High School Leaders?and?216 Youth Advocates?as they work towards making a positive impact in their communities. Board Responsibilities: Provide strategic direction and decision-making for Peyton’s Promise. Support and empower youth leaders and advocates. Meet virtually 10 months of the year (Second Tuesday of the month for approximately 1 hour). Attend two in-person meetings per year (August and December) If you are passionate about youth leadership, community engagement, and making a difference, we encourage you to apply.
