Last Sunday PetWise attended WHATCOM HUMANE SOCIETY's annual Dog Days of Summer event where a few of our Ferndale employees got to meet local pet parents and pups. We shared our favorite Treatly treats, colorful goDog toys, and cozy FurHaven beds and blankets with guests, while the pets got some star treatment in the photobooth with our fantastic photographer Jonathan! ? Last week, our Washington based PetWise team put on their gardening gloves and grabbed their shovels to spend some time volunteering at WHATCOM HUMANE SOCIETY. Whatcom Humane Society (WHS) is the oldest animal-welfare non-profit in Whatcom County, where our Washington team reside. WHS staff and volunteers care for approximately 4,500 domestic, wild, and farm animals at their three shelters. WHS also provides animal control and rescue services, educational workshops, adoption events, and much more for our community. Our employees took some time to weed and re-lay wood chips along the field trail behind the shelter. This trail is used daily by volunteers and prospective pet parents to walk shelter pups and get some bonding time. We also helped set up some vegetable starts for their smaller domestic animals, fill potholes in their parking lot, and prepare some enrichment toys for shelter pups. PetWise is grateful for all the work Whatcom Humane does for our community, and we appreciate them having us on site to help them with some work, and play with some puppies! Our #PetWise customized tote bags were a giant hit at #GPE 2024! Special thanks to #GPE and #theartistzac Zac Crawford (and his illustrative partner Ros Paulino) for creating amazing souvenirs from this year’s show. We were able to create over 300 custom tote bags with pet illustrations for attendees and partners. Thanks to all who participated! Day 2 at #GPE is in the books! Another great day in Orlando, meeting with partners and showcasing our #PetWise brands. Our fun promotion to provide partners and attendees with customized tote bags with an illustration of their pets are a big hit. Our new CEO Mac Tillman is the proud new owner of a custom tote bag featuring his pooches Peanut and Hazel. Huge thanks to #theartistzac Zac Crawford for creating a special keepsake for so many GPE guests. Our PetWise pet ambassador @leia_thelabss was also on-site, experiencing yummy snacks from #Treatly, the latest from pet travel leader #Sherpa and taking a well-deserved break on our some of our #FurHavenPetProducts bedding. Mac also had a chance to meet @leia_thelabss and thank her for being such a fantastic #ambassador for PetWise.
