Alex Moore joins Petra as a Field Engineer Intern in Idaho. He will develop a comprehensive understanding of commercial construction fundamentals and the methods for supporting a Project Team. Through exposure to both Project Management and Field Operations processes, he will make valuable contributions to each project. Congratulations to?Siemens Energy for holding a?successful grand opening of the Siemens Energy – Office and Warehouse Tenant Improvement (TI) project in?Redmond, Washington. Petra had the opportunity to assist in transforming the 5,035 square foot office space by removing a restroom and an interior wall to create the perfect space for a new lobby. We also installed conference room ceilings and exterior rolling doors and handled the TI for their 7,480 square foot warehouse. Siemens Energy, a global leader in energy technology for hydrogen-powered equipment and research, continues to push boundaries in innovation. We extend our gratitude to Siemens Energy?for entrusting us with the opportunity to help improve their space and further their mission.

Examples of a stop work order. A stop work order should be used when there is a risk of injury or death. Here are some real-world examples of when you should use stop-work authority and the actions that should follow. ? No PPE before using a grinder: Stop work and provide the necessary PPE. ? Uncertainty about safe unloading area: Stop work, exit the vehicle, and perform a 360-degree walkaround. ? Damaged ladder in use: Stop work, notify the employee, and tag the ladder out of service. ? Operating Equipment Without Seatbelt or Harness: Stop work and remind the operator of the safety requirements. ? Improper lifting technique: Stop work and guide the employee on proper lifting techniques. ? Moving equipment around a blind corner without a spotter: Stop work and assist as a spotter. ?
